Boy Meets Girl, Boy Friends Girl, Boy Marries Girl

          It all began...at a bar! (We know it is not the most romantic start, but don’t worry, we’ll make up for that later.) They were introduced by their mutual friend Matt Gallo, and over the next year they shared many exciting times together as a group: late night dinners at The Ridge, road trips down the shore, city adventures, and slip-n-slides during hurricanes. However, during the fall of 2011, the boy finally found the courage to ask the girl out on a date. And… she said, “No.” What? Yup! She didn’t want to ruin the friendship, but she thought about it for quite some time and changed that no to a yes; and the rest is history. We’ll skip the period of the countless dates when they both (kinda) lived in Hoboken and then got their own place together and just jump to the good stuff.
 

          It is October 25th, 2017, when we find the couple strolling around Paris. Ah yes! Crepes, macaroons, pommes frites with a side order of epic proposals. The boy had planned a dinner cruise around the Seine River for their second night in the French city, but that wasn't all he had up his sleeve... or in his pocket. While walking to dinner, the boy's hands got sweaty and his heart skipped a few extra beats. "Why is he is so nervous?" thought the girl. As they approached the base of the Eiffel tower, the boy wanted to take a picture. He handed his phone to a woman in a red beret (who, unbeknownst to the girl, was a photographer whom he had hired to capture the next few moments). They took the picture and before the girl could walk away she was stopped. It was in that moment, when she turned around and saw a boyish grin on his face, that she knew what was about to happen next. The boy then got on one knee and found the courage to ask the girl to marry him. This time, she said, “Yes!”
